WALT: solve multiplication and division number problems using more than one strategy

This week the integers have been learning about family facts, repeated additions and place values.

1. 24 x 24 = 76    12 x 2 =24
20 x 20 = 40         2 x 12 =24
4 x 4 = 16             24 divided by 2 = 24
40 + 16 = 76                          2 divided by 24 =24

The chocolate game

MMMMMMMM chocolate
“Wow”  Guess what Did you know that room 8’s literacy class was playing a funny game that involved a dice and of course chocolate, it was amazing. i am going to give you some advice so you know how to play.Let’s get started! you got to have 1 clothing for your dress up and a plate, a knife and a  fork, lots of people to participate to and chocolate.

If you are cutting a piece of chocolate and someone else rolls a 6 then you have to quickly take everything That you dressed up in. Off and sit back down, the chocolate has to stay in the middle to. Everyone has to sit in a large circle,if you roll a 2,  3,  4  or a 5  it’s still the next person's turn.

Did you know that i always got a 6? “man” that was so cool. did you know that Dezare, montel got a piece of  chocolate? That was a funny and awesome game. Some people felt bummed about not having a turn and not cutting the chocolate.  if you get the game you can play it with some kids and start to play.

the game that we were playing was the best game ever and i had never ever heard of that game Before.did you know that my favorite part was when i Almost cut the chocolate, when i was getting dressed up. I couldn't wait until the dice went round and round. I really enjoyed playing this wonderful game, i am really looking forward to eating chocolate today.
